After graduating from Liverpool University in 2018, Matt moved to the North East to undertake a 2-year long post-graduate programme known as General Professional Training.
In this programme he worked in a busy dental practice in Newcastle and also in Newcastle Dental Hospital. This varied programme gave Matt the opportunity to work with specialists in the fields of Paediatrics, Oral Surgery, Restorative Dentistry, and Oral Medicine.
Away from dentistry Matt is a keen football player and plays both competitively and casually. Matt also enjoys socialising and meeting up with friends, either here in the North East or in his native West Yorkshire. Matt has a keen interest in languages and has been teaching himself Spanish & Portuguese for a number of years (with varying degrees of success!).
Matt has attended many courses this year and will be undertaking additional training in the advanced management of gum disease (known as Periodontics) and providing Root Canal Treatment (known as Endodontics) in more complex cases.
